UKCPH through partnership serving communities throughout Kentucky to make positive change in people's lives

Research:

Research opportunities are diverse and varied in the College of Public Health. Funded by state and federal entities, new and ongoing research activities provide an excellent opportunity for expansion of knowledge in all realms of public health. UKCPH faculty actively engage students in research that can affect positive change in people's lives.

Academics:

The College of Public Health is dedicated to providing an intellectually-stimulating and vigorous academic environment for diverse students.  Strong theoretical knowledge and the translation of knowledge into practice form the foundation of UKCPH academics. Coursework emphasizes broad-based public health competencies, and prepares students for effective public health leadership, practice and service to the community.

Outreach:

Through its various research centers, the College of Public Health seeks to actively empower citizens and communities, drawing on their expertise and experience. From aging to injury prevention, public health leadership to preventing drug abuse, UKCPH seeks to move beyond UK’s campus to provide a hand-in-hand partnership with communities throughout Kentucky.
