College of Public Health Phon-A-Thon

The College of Public Health held a Phon-A-Thon during the second week of July to increase support for the John Wiggs Endowment Scholarship Fund.  The College received an all time record 56 pledges from its alumni, faculty, and staff, totaling $2,905. Proceeds from the endowment will eventually provide scholarships to deserving College of Public Health students based on merit  and other criteria yet to be determined. With the additional funds raised during the Phon-A-Thon the Wiggs Endowment has reached approximately $40,000.  Our goal is to reach the $50,000 threshold, making the Endowment eligible for RCTF V matching from the State.   Our deepest thanks and gratitude to all for supporting this worthy cause.
