Curriculum Vitae

Julia Field Costich is the chair of the Department of Health Services Management in the University of Kentucky College of Public Health and director of the Kentucky Injury Prevention & Research Center (KIPRC). 

Before joining the UK public health faculty in 1998, she administered academic medical programs for twelve years and practiced health care law in the public and private sectors. 

Research Interests

Dr. Costich’s research interests focus on legal and policy issues, including health care funding and access for vulnerable populations, injury prevention, and comparative health systems.
